Amelia Maszońska is considered one of the best Polish violinists of the younger generation. She began her violin studies in 2008 at the "School of Talents" with Jadwiga Kaliszewska. She then continued her studies at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan and later at the Bern University of the Arts with Monika Urbaniak Lisik, where she graduated with a soloist diploma with honours in 2020. One year later, she obtained her CAS diploma with Corina Belcea and Bartek Niziol, also with distinction. She received important impulses in master classes with Janine Jansen, Zakhar Bron, Augustin Hadelich, Benjamin Schmid and Pavel Vernikov.

She has performed as a soloist with orchestras in Poland and throughout Europe. She has performed with the Argovia Philharmonic, the Biel Solothurn Symphony Orchestra, the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, the Gyor Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Cottbus State Theater, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, the Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra and the Leopoldinum Orchestra, among others.

As a chamber musician, she has worked with great personalities such as Soyoung Yoon, Bartek Niziol, Dorota Siuda, Vladimir Bukac and Daniel Pezzotti. In 2017, she was awarded the prestigious "Wielkopolski Glos" Young Arts Medal in Poland. She has also received numerous scholarships, including from the Schenk Foundation, the Lyra Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Poland and the Yamaha Foundation.

Amelia Maszonska is a prizewinner at international competitions. She won the 1st prize at the Kiefer Hablitzel Göhner Music Prize, 3rd prize at the Rahn Music Prize Competition in Zurich and was a semi-finalist at the XV International Henryk Wieniawski Competition as well as the winner of five special prizes, including Wanda Wilkomirska's prize for the best interpretation of the piece by Karol Szymanowski. She won the Grand Prix both at the Concert of the Year in Szczecin (Poland) and at the International Music Festival & Masterclass in Pila (Poland). She also won 1st place at the XIV International Juliusz Zarebski Music Competition in Poland, 2nd place at the 21st International Leos Janacek Violin Competition, where she also received a special prize, and 3rd place at the International Carl Flesch Violin Competition in Hungary.

In addition to her busy concert schedule at home and abroad, Amelia Maszonska works as an assistant to Monika Urbaniak Lisik at the Bern University of the Arts. Since 2021 she holds a position in the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. Amelia Maszonska plays a 1925 violin by Enrico Orselli.
